Tour 1 - The Museum of Czech porcelain


Muzeum českého porcelánu

It represents a tour of the Museum of Czech porcelain, which is the primary concern of our effort for a presentation of the porcelain collections of Museum of Applied Arts in Prague. The collection of Czech porcelain, situated in twenty-one rooms on the 1st floor of the castle, is documenting more than 200 years of porcelain production in Bohemia. In the period showcases and interiors, the production of manufactures and porcelain factories from Horní Slavkov, Klášterec nad Ohří, Březová, Kisibl, Chodov, Stará Role, Dalovice, Prague, Loket, Budov and Ždanov is exhibited.

The tour 1 takes 50 minutes with an intensive skilled guide commentary.



Tour 1 - The Museum of Chinese, Japanese and European porcelain


Muzeum čínského, japonského a evropského porcelánu

The visitors can see an exposition of beginnings of the world's porcelain production – Chinese, Japanese, Meissen, Viennese and Nymphenburg of the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries. The exhibits are placed in the Renaissance halls decorated with stucco ornaments from the period around 1600. The commentary includes also the history of the porcelain production in ancient China, Japan, Europe and Bohemia.

The tour 2 takes 30 minutes.



Tour 2 - Fairyland of Vítězslava Klimtová and puppets of Kopecký family


Pohádková země

The exhibition of gnomes, fairies and various spooks „Fairyland of Vítězslava Klimtová and puppets of Kopecký family“ offers an unforgettable experience in the company of fairytale characters to young and older visitors.

The tour takes 45 minutes.



In the course of the season, the castle lookout tower is open to public.
